Roles And Responsibilities:
- The incumbent will be primarily responsible for AXP's accounting assurance, research and release, compliance and analytics.
- Responsible for managing reconciliation balance sheet – Clearance& Research and Analytics.
- Manage accounting aging and open item reconciliation and keep them under desired limits.
- The role would require participating in and leading projects from their respective process perspective.
- Constantly challenge the status quo and look for opportunities to redesign processes.
- Always ensure financial integrity and proactively identify risks.
- Ensure timely completion of AXP balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support the internal links in driving projects.
- Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of assigned accounts.
- Provide quick and courteous service to the customer and customers.
- Increase the efficiency in the process.
- Support the internal links in driving projects.
- Meet and exceed quality, cycle time, and other process SLAs.
- Foster positive relationships with diverse stakeholders/teams
- Follow standard operating procedures.
- Proactively track users and ensure assigned cases are resolved in a timely manner.
- Escalate open/unresolved cases to appropriate leadership.
- Stay informed of all changes in the system/processes
Skills Required:
- 0-3 years of relevant experience.
- Must have knowledge of finance/accounting.
- The job holder should be either a graduate (B.Com or equivalent) or a post graduate with around 1-2 years of relevant post qualification experience.
- Must have strong analytical skills, maturity, good judgment and a positive/independent/structured approach.
- Should be able to operate in a global environment.
- Must have strong problem-solving, planning and analytical skills to enable and focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Must be proficient in using standard MS Office products, especially PowerPoint, Excel.
- Must be able to influence outcomes and build strong relationships.
- Must have good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to interact with senior management, multiple levels of employees/business partners/customers.
