The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Actively participate in the mentoring and training of actuaries and analysts.
• Work independently on ambitious and strategic projects in areas such as pricing, reinsurance, business planning, data science, reserving, etc.
• Leverage your expertise to lead large-scale actuarial projects.
• Demonstrate leadership by contributing to corporate strategy discussions, seizing opportunities, and sharing your passion and vision.
• Mentor colleagues through coaching, complex problem-solving, and technical and peer reviews.
• University degree or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certifications in mathematics, actuarial science, finance, or economics, ACAS or FCAS preferred.
• 5 or more years of actuarial experience (preferably in the property and casualty insurance industry).
• Good knowledge of SAS, VBA, R, or Python. Desired skills: adaptability, innovation, analytical skills, decision-making, critical thinking, excellent communication, planning, organization, and teamwork.
• No Canadian work experience is required, but eligibility to work in Canada is required.
