Roles And Responsibilities:

  • Manage and check transport data (tariffs, lanes, routes, etc.) and fix problems
  • Handles activities related to container/truck operations.
  • Validates incoming invoices for transportation to meet contractual and legal requirements.
  • Collects transport documents and checks for discrepancies.
  • Main responsibilities include ensuring timely and correct payment of freight bills, maintaining tariffs, managing related data, and resolving carrier issues.
  • This role requires the individual to provide leadership and coordination with the business, onshore team and shippers.
  • Take an active part in CTL transformation and process improvement (post-migration)
  • Perform all administrative activities according to the current Policies and Procedures (SOPs).
  • Works under limited supervision, creating and distributing messages between internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis using multiple communication channels (phone, email, instant message) to ensure established processes are carried out.
  • According to moderately defined procedures, process communication can be developed and distributed to process participants.
  • Performs less complex tasks associated with designing and conducting training/educational sessions for process stakeholders.
  • Performs less complex tasks related to monitoring incidents and problems.
  • Provides assistance in resolving incidents and issues by following moderately defined procedures through stakeholder interactions.

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor with a focus on Transportation & Logistics, Finance or International Trade
  • Solid understanding of freight management (contract, tender and data management) & Freight payment Process.
  • Solid understanding of Internal Controls & Risks.
  • Knowledge of import and export requirements
  • Knowledge of containerized container transport, trucking operations and related cargo moving activities
  • Experience with SAP/JDE and other integrated transport management systems.
  • Computer skills, analysis tools (Microsoft Office, especially in Excel Word & Power Point etc.)
  • Troubleshooting: Stick to SLAs/SOPs.
  • Solving operational issues for international trade (bulk and container)
  • Point of contact for team members for supply chain/documents, issues and decision makers to improve operational efficiency.
  • Knowledge Management, Understand different document templates and standards (e.g. SOPs) to interpret the documents and associated terminologies
