Job Summary

As an interior designer, you will have to plan the interiors of spaces with furniture, lighting, wall treatments etc from our extensive Livspace catalog.

For this, you will meet clients directly and keep their needs and preferences to design within the estimated timeline and project costs.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Meet new clients, and understand their requirements in detail. You must ensure their interactions with us convert them into paying customers

2. Own your projects from start to finish. Your designs belong to you alone!

3. Be the voice of Livspace and educate clients about our revolutionary interior design and execution capabilities

4. Work closely with the client and our interior design team to finalize the home design, 3D designs, and GFC drawings

5. Collaborate with the Livspace execution support team to ensure your design turns into reality seamlessly

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

1. You have been an interior designer for at least one year

2. With experience, you could easily be an encyclopedia of Google Sketch up and Auto-CAD

3. An active listener. Paying attention to your client’s every need to deliver their dream home

4. Selling design should come naturally to you

5. You should have strong visualization and conceptualization abilities

6. Passionate about colors, shapes, architecture, 3Ds and all things related to design

7. You follow websites/ magazines/ blogs that help you stay updated on interior design trends and improve your skills

8. When push comes to shove, you don’t let go of your calm and composed attitude

9. You can communicate impeccably in English, be it verbal or written

10. An added bonus would be if you are an architect, for a better understanding of the project cycle

11. You have an eye for detail. Nothing escapes your scrutiny. No design detail goes wrong under your supervision

12. You are self-motivated to be the absolute best at what you do

13. Interior Design is your life but you also dabble in sports or arts or music or any other hobby to keep yourself stimulated.
