Job Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a research team in order to curate accurate, timely, insightful and comprehensive data and intelligence;
Identify and analyse the most relevant information for Beacon and its users;
Coordinate with UK based clients on a regular basis to understand and meet the project deliverables.
Manage the activities required towards the launch of a beacon module and support the needs towards the maintenance post launch.
You will be part of a global network of life science researchers working on dynamic, fast-growing products in the areas of life sciences.

About the Internship:

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Understand a problem statement and implement analytical solutions & techniques independently or with minimal supervision
2. Identify and understand the KPIs, areas of opportunity, trends of the matrices of the ongoing projects and recommend actions to the respective stakeholders to help them drive their projects
3. Develop advanced algorithms that solve problems of large dimensionality in a computationally efficient and statistically effective manner
4. Execute statistical and data mining techniques (e.g. hypothesis testing, machine learning, and retrieval processes) on large data sets to identify trends, statistics, and other relevant information.
5. Produce regular reports and analysis, write systems queries to gather data, perform data mining and analysis using tools including advanced MS Excel, Python / R, Oracle BI, and Cognos identifying trends and developing forecasts, as well as identifying opportunities for cost savings and quality improvement.
6. Contribute to the evaluation of emerging datasets and technologies that may contribute to our analytical platform
7. Collaborate with business, product and technology teams to implement projects
8. Define configuration specifications, business analysis requirements and perform quality assurance
